This section provides insight into customer experiences and illustrates a variety of customer facilities. We invite you to contact any customer on the customer list - the list contains all customers. Below are stories and testimonials from our user community. We began developing this section of the web site in June 2007. Over time we will be posting a lot of information in this section as we complete migration of data from an older web system.
CML is a system of 21 libraries in central Ohio. Ranked #1 by Hennen in 2005, this remarkable library system operates a self-developed ILS running on a Tandem, and is one of the most used systems in the Nation. In the Fall of 2004, CML adopted EnvisionWare PC Reservation and LPT:One in a manual to automated migration after an exhaustive look at the market. In 2007, the library converted all self-check systems to EnvisionWare OneStop and today operates over 100 self-check systems in 21 libraries. As part of the new building construction, the library adopted Renaissance RFID and OneStop to facilitate the increased use and circulation without increasing staff. Envisionaries:
The library created a team called 'Envisionaries' who were responsible for adapting the library's policies and procedures to an automated system. The team created a strategic plan for deployment, training, and promotion. Shown here is the result of restructuring some library space in a branch, and the high visibility signs that lead users to proper locations for sign up and printing.

Quotes:
“While we have doubled in size, our staffing will remain the same. Using RFID and EnvisionWare we anticipate being able to check patrons out much quicker so we will be able to handle the circulation desk without increasing staff. Another new feature will be the self check-out which will allow patrons to check out their own materials and be on their way. At the open house, one patron stated that now the library had caught up with Wal-Mart. Circulation staff will now have more time to answer questions or deal other problems patrons may be having.” - Jenny Draper,Director

"From the afternoon that EnvisionWare PC Reservation and Print Control were implemented as a demonstration in our brand new Home Gardens Branch Library, our experience has been day from night over our old system. EnvisionWare quickly won over the staff and local manager that had used the old system at previous sites. Word spread to other libraries via volunteers and staff that assisted during the library opening. EnvisionWare @ Home Gardens quickly created a buzz throughout the library system. During area business and training sessions, branch managers were asking “When do we get ours?” Senior management was quick to plan for full system implementation in the next budget cycle. This full implementation including e-commerce and LPT One are expected from mid-July through end August in over 30 branches. Selected sites will include OneStop Full-Service Kiosks or Coin and Bill Acceptors." - Luther Brady, Automation Manager
