LPT:One - Print Cost Management
This software component solution works as a stand-alone client or in conjunction with a Print Release Terminal, and with multiple payment systems. This is the most versatile solution for print management in the world. The modules are available separately or as part of a Suite that combines the power of print and time management into a single system.
PC Reservation - PC Access and Session Control
Used by more libraries than all other products combined, this powerful software solution offers the most intuitive public interface because it was designed by public librarians. Uniquely, there is no requirement for a separate patron database because EnvisionWare links directly to your Integrated Library System (ILS) although you can optionally operate a separate user database if desired.
BarcodePlus - Copier Accounting and Control
Seamless integration into EnvisionWare's backend SQL accounting database allows the BarcodePlus Ethernet terminals to access patron on-line account data for full copier control and accounting from existing barcode-based library cards or Blackboard student cards.
eCommerce Server - Fine Payment and Credit Card Processing
Web based account revalue and fine payment plus kiosk-enabled support of fine payment for most major ILS systems is supported with EnvisionWare's eCommerce Server solution.
Launch Command - Network Menu with Application Metering
When launching applications from a desktop and controlling the number of simultaneous uses is important, EnvisionWare's Launch Command is the perfect solution. Originally created for the CD server era, this product continues to serve the needs of the Citrix/Terminal Services market and administrators that want to deliver customized desktops.
Authentication and Accounting Module
The AAM provides features and a backend database using either Access or SQL databases. This optional component provides multiple on-line accounts as well as serving as a repository for statistical information.
Central Management Software
EnvisionWare's success is built on our unique Distributed Architecture which provides a highly redundant and powerful system that is free from a single point of failure. Our system was designed to be server-less but a server is an option. Each component does its share of the workload. While our original design was intended to server the needs of very small libraries, the largest libraries in the world have discovered that our design is ideally suited to their needs. Naturally an enterprise system requires seamless management which is why we provide our Central Management Software which can control a system from multiple locations including our support center. We can push updates to management components (Clients update themselves automatically) and centrally change all settings from one or multiple locations.
Hardware
BarcodePlus Ethernet Terminals
The perfect complement to the BarcodePlus software, EnvisionWare's terminals connect directly to virtually any copier (including those provided by us) as well as microform readers. Terminals presently deliver patron balances from the AAM database and will soon access the fine amount for immediate clearing of patron fees and fines.
BarcodePlus Add Value Station
Whether you want to add funds to an on-line account using cash or a credit card, or pay overdue fines, the EnvisionWare Add Value Station is the perfect solution for a BarcodePlus-enabled facility.
Network Content Manager

EnvisionWare provides Savin copiers and printers in the United States, and Ricoh systems in Canada. We have a direct affiliation with Ricoh USA that allows us to provide turnkey solutions to our customers. Lease a complete package from EnvisionWare using our municipal leasing program.
Services
EnvisionWare software was designed to be installed by our customers. Many customers choose to install themselves but we also have a flexible menu of choices for customers that allow you to customize your installation package.
System Policy Development
EnvisionWare will work collaboratively with your institution to understand how you operate and how you think. We will explore the way you run your library or university and we will then build a model of your system in our lab. Your complete installation will be assembled on a server for download by you. Everything you need will be ready - every setting is pre-set, every installable file, every printer driver is pre-certified. There is nothing left for you to do but click on a link provided on your on-line license certificate.
Remote Installation Service
EnvisionWare offers a cost-effective turnkey installation program wherein our professional services group will install your complete software system via the Internet. You click on a web link for each of your computers, go home, and come in one hour before opening the next morning. We will provide a web-based training class to teach you how to use your newly-installed system. It's that simple.
On-site Installation Service
EnvisionWare's Field Engineers will provide a customized installation program to fit your exact needs. Whether you want a one-day install that you will complete or a total turnkey implementation, we give you a minute by minute accounting so that you can choose the options that fit your budget and needs. Our staff of skilled professionals don't stop with our software. They also know about all the hardware we provide as well as other 3rd party products such as existing copiers and printers. We're prepared to do the whole job. When EnvisionWare says turnkey, we mean turnkey.

CONTROL: Not just self check out or self check in, EnvisionWare OneStop is much more. Imagine a self-service check out/check in software solution in which you have TOTAL CONTROL. This system is like no other in versatility. You control every aspect of the look and feel because the interface is built with HTML. You can use FrontPage® or any well-known HTML editing tool to modify the appearance of your system. Anything that can be displayed in a web browser can be incorporated into your self-service station -- text, pictures, movies, sound, Java script, DHTML, and more. But that's just the beginning. Even more versatility is offered by the WWL - "web-based workflow language." If a borrower owes a fine/fee, the system might navigate to an account summary page offering an integrated link to pay fines. If the user is blocked, then fine payment or cancel might be the only option. You can display a wealth of information about the borrower's account status and you can offer cash, credit card, and account-based fine payment - automatically.
ADAPTABILITY: EnvisionWare Self-service circulation software supports self check out, self check in, and more. You decide the functionality by changing the configuration. Imagine adapting our software to the unique needs of your existing workflow. Perhaps your ILS software doesn't serve the needs of rapid check in. STANDARDS: SIP2 links to your ILS, SSL provides for secure financial transactions, HTML is used to encode pages, multi-vendor coin-op/vending device support enables a variety of hardware choices in the eCommerce module, and csv provides an industry-standard logging and reporting file structure. Our certified Blackboard interface permits campus card fine payment for academic libraries. UTF-8 provides Unicode language support. The standard (included) languages are English, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Taiwanese. Additional languages are under development and will be provided at no additional charge.

At ALA Midwinter 2006, EnvisionWare ushered in a new era in library technology. Unveiled in the SirsiDynix exhibit, one of EnvisionWare's strategic ILS technology and distribution partners, the OneStop™ was the buzz of the show and the talk of customers, consultants, the press, and our competition.

When EnvisionWare began researching the self-check marketplace we discovered an idea that didn't make sense. Published literature suggested that one of the five keys to success with self-check was raising the fine limit. We didn't understand how collecting less money would make self-check palatable to a library board. There are several design criteria incorporated in the OneStop kiosk that sets it apart from other solutions. Modularity and ease of service are just one of these important virtues. We designed a system so that anyone can easily service or replace a component in seconds.
Bill/Note Stacker / Module
Protecting and controlling cash is another important component. The modular dual key bill/note stacker permits easy removal of the cassette containing bills inserted into the system. The cassette is removed with one key but it takes a second key to open the casette and remove the actual cash. Thus independent service and cash removal can be accommodated while protecting the cash inside the cassette. A blank unit can be inserted into the system and the full unit taken to administration where cash is counted.

We know that every library is unique and that some of our customers might already have a component for print management or desktop protection. We respect your right to have options and your right to choose the individual modules that make up the solution you desire. Some of our customers have purchased PC Reservation to integrate with an existing legacy print management solution or vice versa. Often these print systems have been provided by a local dealer in conjunction with printers and photocopiers. While we can and do provide the best print management solution in the industry, we're not going to make you pay for a module that you don't need or can't afford at the moment. Should you decide to migrate later, we make it easy to add modules enabling additional required features with a license download. We're so flexible that we actually provide integration features so that you can link LPT:One to a legacy time/reservation system. Free Use Utility for Horizon libraries
To introduce our services, the development team has created a FREE program called PINPal™. PINPal is an application written for Horizon libraries that can set or reset borrower PINS from data in your Horizon database. PINPal provides a PREFERENCES choice where you can enter the information necessary to access your system, and then configure your desired actions for setting PINs. Perhaps you want to populate all empty PIN fields with a postal code or the last four digits of a phone number. Simply select the appropriate preference and then press TEST to display sample data that matches your criteria. When the test data displays what you want, press RUN to rewrite your borrower PINs. Whether you're adopting PC Reservation® and have decided to use barcode plus PIN for validation, or you simply want to start using PINs as secondary identification to access borrower accounts on the web, this FREE utliity is for you - written by experienced Horizon programmers that recently left SirsiDynix to join the EnvisionWare team. With skills in all technologies related to Horizon, Unicorn, and Symphony, our staff stand ready to help you adapt your ILS to your very special needs.

A Tool to Generate Automatic Text (SMS) Messages Based on Integrated Library System (ILS) Queries
SMS Manager generates data based on notices already generated in the ILS and packages that data for upload to an SMS provider. The application provides libraries with the ability to automatically batch notices for SMS delivery to patrons (currently for holds). The information can be configured for automatic transmission to the SMS provider on a regular schedule. Libraries use an SMS provider to actually send the notices. This SMS provider manages the template.

Graphical interface for managing the schedule configuration options.
Flag posted to the ILS that data is sent - avoids the ILS sending it again as a paper or email notice.
Automatic - once it is set the library can forget it.
Easily Configured - the library can alter selection criteria and schedules without programmer assistance.
-- Library can elect to send to specific or all borrower types (btypes in Horizon)
-- Library can elect to send to all or some phone types (for example, can send SMS only to borrowers with type ABC and phone type MOB if preferred).
-- Library can quickly change the configuration as required.
-- Library receives automatic notification of number of items notified and date and time sent.
Compatible with Horizon; Unicorn and Symphony options are in development. Other ILS compatibility will be considered.
