PC Reservation® - PC Access and Session Control

Used by more libraries than all other products combined, this powerful software solution offers the most intuitive public interface because it was designed by public librarians. Authentication and Accounting Module™

The AAM provides features and a backend database using either Access or SQL databases. This optional component provides multiple on-line accounts as well as serving as a repository for statistical information.

EnvisionWare's success is built on our unique Distributed Architecture which provides a highly redundant and powerful system that is free from a single point of failure. Our system was designed to be server-less but a server is an option. Each component does its share of the workload. While our original design was intended to server the needs of very small libraries, the largest libraries in the world have discovered that our design is ideally suited to their needs. Naturally an enterprise system requires seamless management which is why we provide our Central Management Software which can control a system from multiple locations including our support center. We can push updates to management components (Clients update themselves automatically) and centrally change all settings from one or multiple locations.

Services

EnvisionWare software was designed to be installed by our customers. Many customers choose to install themselves but we also have a flexible menu of choices for customers that allow you to customize your installation package.

System Policy Development

EnvisionWare will work collaboratively with your institution to understand how you operate and how you think. We will explore the way you run your library or university and we will then build a model of your system in our lab. Your complete installation will be assembled on a server for download by you. Everything you need will be ready - every setting is pre-set, every installable file, every printer driver is pre-certified. There is nothing left for you to do but click on a link provided on your on-line license certificate.

Remote Installation Service

EnvisionWare offers a cost-effective turnkey installation program wherein our professional services group will install your complete software system via the Internet. You click on a web link for each of your computers, go home, and come in one hour before opening the next morning. We will provide a web-based training class to teach you how to use your newly-installed system. It's that simple.

On-site Installation Service

EnvisionWare's Field Engineers will provide a customized installation program to fit your exact needs. Whether you want a one-day install that you will complete or a total turnkey implementation, we give you a minute by minute accounting so that you can choose the options that fit your budget and needs. Our staff of skilled professionals don't stop with our software. They also know about all the hardware we provide as well as other 3rd party products such as existing copiers and printers. We're prepared to do the whole job. When EnvisionWare says turnkey, we mean turnkey.

The kiosk is available in two standard colors with options for an array of Wilsonart finishes. 

Inside the seamless front drawer is a maintenance keyboard and mouse, spare receipt paper, and other supplies that are locked away from patron access.  In line with access control, the locking desktop prevents direct access to the included high speed receipt printer.

CONTROL: Not just self check out or self check in, EnvisionWare OneStop is much more. Imagine a self service check out/check in software solution in which you have TOTAL CONTROL. This system is like no other in versatility. You control every aspect of the look and feel because the interface is built with HTML. You can use FrontPage® or any well-known HTML editing tool to modify the appearance of your system. Anything that can be displayed in a web browser can be incorporated into your self service station -- text, pictures, movies, sound, Javascript, DHTML, and more. But that's just the beginning. Even more versatility is offered by the WWL - "web-based workflow language." If a borrower owes a fine/fee, the system might navigate to an account summary page offering a  method to pay fines.
