EnvisionWare OneStop Self-service Circulation Systems

OneStop™: The World's Leading Self Service Circulation Solution for Libraries Like our other well known, widely used self service products in use at over 9,500 libraries, EnvisionWare's OneStop Self Service Circulation Software* is versatile, interoperable, standards-based, and adaptable to a variety of library environments. Our self service circulation solution is offered as a software module for use on library-owned computers, as part of our unique, All In One desktop package, or in the All In One Kiosk as shown to the right. The kiosk is available in two standard colors with options for an array of Wilsonart finishes.  Inside the seamless front drawer is a maintenance keyboard and mouse, spare receipt paper, and other supplies that are locked away from patron access.  In line with access control, the locking desktop prevents direct access to the included high speed receipt printer. Customer choice is the hallmark of EnvisionWare solutions, and OneStop stands as the ultimate versatile solution.

 
CONTROL: Not just self check out or self check in, EnvisionWare OneStop is much more. Imagine a self service check out/check in software solution in which you have TOTAL CONTROL. This system is like no other in versatility. You control every aspect of the look and feel because the interface is built with HTML. You can use FrontPage® or any well-known HTML editing tool to modify the appearance of your system. Anything that can be displayed in a web browser can be incorporated into your self service station -- text, pictures, movies, sound, Javascript, DHTML, and more. But that's just the beginning. Even more versatility is offered by the WWL - "web-based workflow language." If a borrower owes a fine/fee, the system might navigate to an account summary page offering a  method to pay fines. If the user is blocked by your ILS, then fine payment or cancel might be the only option. You can display a wealth of information about the borrower's account status and you can offer cash, credit card, and account-based fine payment - automatically.

ADAPTABILITY: EnvisionWare Self service circulation software supports self check out, self check in, and more. You decide the functionality by changing the system configuration. Imagine adapting our software to the unique needs of your existing workflow. Perhaps your ILS software doesn't serve the needs of rapid check in. With a few clicks of the mouse, you can change the appearance, wording, and operation of the system so that you have software that works the way you want it to. Does your workflow ever change? Is your library different? Do branch operations differ from a central site? Do you evaluate your processes and look for ways to adapt your operation for higher efficiency? EnvisionWare software is made for you.

FINE PAYMENT: When coupled with EnvisionWare eCommerce Services, your EnvisionWare self service system becomes a powerful tool for increased fee collections. With EnvisionWare you don't raise your fine threshold to improve the success of sel -service check out, you lower it. By allowing non-confrontational, self service payment, barriers are reduced and fine collections are increased. Imagine offsetting the complete cost of self check out/self service by collecting as little as 5-10% of your uncollectable overdue fines (our libraries report an average collection increase of 16%.)

STANDARDS: SIP2 links to your ILS, SSL provides for secure financial transactions, HTML is used to encode pages, multi-vendor coin-op/vending device support enables a variety of hardware choices in the eCommerce module, and csv provides an industry-standard logging and reporting file structure. Our certified Blackboard interface permits campus card payment for academic libraries. UTF-8 provides Unicode language support. The standard (included) languages are English, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Taiwanese. Additional languages are under development and will be provided at no additional charge as they are released.

INTEGRATED SELF SERVICE: Self service check in/check out, borrower-enabled fine payment, user-selected language support, and a user-defined graphical/HTML menu are integrated into systems that become your self service stations throughout the library. Incorporate EnvisionWare's LPT:One™ Print Release Terminals, AAM Account Revalue stations, EnvisionWare eCommerce Fines Pay Client, PC Reservation® self service reservation station and other applications so that every self service circulation station is transitioned to the Next Generation in library services --end to end self service.

Every year since our birth in 1998, EnvisionWare has delivered the premier product in its class, starting with Launch Command™, a Citrix-based menu in 1997, followed by LPT:One™ print management, then AAM, PC Reservation®, Staff Transaction Station (STS), BarcodePlus®, PCRefresh™, EnvisionWare eCommerce Services™, and our award-winning Self-service circulation technology, OneStop™. In 2006 came EnvisionWare Renaissance™, a turnkey, end-to-end OPEN STANDARD RFID solution that also includes barcode and RFID-based Automated Materials Handling.

Commitment to Customer Choice

Those vendors that cannot provide the flexibility, growth, adaptability, and modularity of a solution like EnvisionWare might advocate an all-in-one non-modular product. Certainly our customers can and often do purchase a complete Suite from us (our Suite provides special combined and simplified pricing for PC management with print control). But, what makes us genuinely unique is that we approach our customers the same way we want to be treated - with choices. Our code is written by one team of exceptionally talented developers at our headquarters in Atlanta. We're proud of our development group, the largest team in our industry. They share a common core technology base and a consistent vision. We know that every library is unique and that some of our customers might already have a component for print management or desktop protection. We respect your right to have options and your right to choose the individual modules that make up the solution you desire. Some of our customers have purchased PC Reservation to integrate with an existing legacy print management solution or vice versa. Often these print systems have been provided by a local dealer in conjunction with printers and photocopiers. While we can and do provide the best print management solution in the industry, we're not going to make you pay for a module that you don't need or can't afford at the moment. Should you decide to migrate later, we make it easy to add modules enabling additional required features with a license download. We're so flexible that we actually provide integration features so that you can link LPT:One to a legacy time/reservation system. Later when you have the funds, your lease expires, or some other compelling reason to upgrade occurs, you can install and enable the rest of our complete Suite to provide even more seamless integration.

Ease of Upgrade

Our history in provision of components has resulted in high quality solutions for all services. Since each module must stand on its own merit, we can't afford mediocrity in any service. Our modularity also allows us to quickly add a new feature (released to all customers) for a single module in PC Reservation, LPT:One, or eCommerce Services without implication to the rest of your functionality and without waiting 12-18 months for a major upgrade.
