EnvisionWare—ISO 15693 / 18000-3 Open Standard RFID Tags and Covers
BACKGROUND
We guarantee delivery of the highest quality ISO 15693 / 18000-3 RFID tags in the industry.
PRINTED TAGS
We believe in printing the institution identity on the tags, like "Property of the DaVinci Public Library." This provides an added benefit to a tag and it deters removal. If patrons see the tag as a property label and not as an RFID tag, they are less likely to mangle the tag. There’s some financial benefit to pre-printed tags and that’s part of the value proposition.
READ CONSISTENCY
The quality of a tag manufacturer can be evaluated on several criteria. Perhaps one of the most significant measurements is tag read consistency. Our engineers have performed multiple read tests on all of the major tag manufacturers' products and we’ve found that our tags are consistent and they perform more reliably when read at self-check.
VARIETY
Any RFID solution must be considerate of various media types. We offer choices in book tags, CD tags, DVD tags, and unique tags for sets and special applications. While we conform to tradition for the size and style of book and media tags, if your environment is unique, we have the choices to fit your needs.
QUALITY
EnvisionWare RFID tags are manufactured in a ISO9001 compliant facility. What more would one need to know?
PRICE
Our RightPrice™ Guarantee is simple: we will beat any competitive tag price on an equivalent quantity, quality, and set of features by 5% or more. You can be assured of receiving the highest quality tags with or without brilliant institution printing at a price that is competitive to any credible library-related RFID supplier.
TAG MANUFACTURER
We have partnered with the best of breed company on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreement to deliver products that bear the EnvisionWare name. This assures you that you’re getting a solution that is guaranteed to work with the entire EnvisionWare Renaissance RFID family and that tags will be readily available when you need them. Further, our tags comply with ISO 15693 / 18000-3 standards so our tags are compatible with competitive solutions - and priced to save you money. Our partner is a world-leading supplier of pressure sensitive label stock and at the global forefront in the development and high-volume production of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. A company’s supplier can often be regarded as intellectual property (a trade secret) and while we’re not giving a public disclosure of our "secret herbs and spices," we will naturally provide very detailed information about tag manufacturing when a customer enters into negotiation with EnvisionWare for supply of tags and/or provision of a complete, turnkey RFID system.

EnvisionWare Araphyde™ CD / DVD Soft Covers - One
to Six Discs
Whether you are migrating from barcodes to EnvisionWare Renaissance or solving a media problem with your current system, our soft covers are the perfect solution for media packaging. Made of a soft poly material, these sleeves provide color-coded sorting and appropriate packaging for multiple item sets. Unlike their brittle jewel case predecessors, these soft covers don't break, they take considerably less shelf space, and their design addresses the need for easier and faster sorting, text labeling, and offset bundling for reliable RFID reading. As experienced RFID users know, a stack of CD's or DVD's can misread if all tags are aligned. EnvisionWare's soft covers are offset as shown in the photo to the right. A variety of color choices provide fast and intuitive genre sorting.
Soft covers can be color coded to meet the unique organizational requirements of your library.
