Like our other well known, widely used self-service products in use at over 5,500 libraries, EnvisionWare's OneStop Self-Service Circulation Software* is versatile, interoperable, standards-based, and adaptable to a variety of library environments. Our self-service circulation solution is offered as a software module for use on library-owned PC's, as part of an All In One desktop package, or in the EnvisionWare Renaissance™ Self Check Out / Self Check In kiosk, or OneStop™ Full Self-service kiosks.

Self-check software on OneStopOneStop Blue ThemeCONTROL: Not just self check out or self check in, EnvisionWare OneStop is much more. Imagine a self-service check out/check in software solution in which you have TOTAL CONTROL. This system is like no other in versatility. You control every aspect of the look and feel because the interface is built with HTML. You can use FrontPage® or any well-known HTML editing tool to modify the appearance of your system. Anything that can be displayed in a web browser can be incorporated into your self-service station -- text, pictures, movies, sound, Java script, DHTML, and more. But that's just the beginning. Even more versatility is offered by the WWL - "web-based workflow language." If a borrower owes a fine/fee, the system might navigate to an account summary page offering an integrated link to pay fines. If the user is blocked, then fine payment or cancel might be the only option. You can display a wealth of information about the borrower's account status and you can offer cash, credit card, and account-based fine payment - automatically.

ADAPTABILITY: EnvisionWare Self-service circulation software supports self check out, self check in, and more. You decide the functionality by changing the configuration. Imagine adapting our software to the unique needs of your existing workflow. Perhaps your ILS software doesn't serve the needs of rapid check in. With a few clicks of the mouse, you can change the appearance, wording, and operation of the system so that you have software that works the way you want it to. Does your workflow ever change? Is your library different? Do branch operations differ from a central site? Do you evaluate your processes and look for ways to adapt your operation for higher efficiency? EnvisionWare software is made for you.

FINE PAYMENT: When coupled with EnvisionWare eCommerce Services, your EnvisionWare self-service system becomes a powerful tool for increased fee collections. With EnvisionWare you don't raise your fine threshold to improve the success of self-service check out, you lower it. By allowing non-confrontational, self-service payment, barriers are reduced and fine collections are increased. Imagine offsetting the complete cost of self-check/self-service by collecting as little as 5-10% of your overdue fines (our libraries report an average collection increase of 16%.)

STANDARDS: SIP2 links to your ILS, SSL provides for secure financial transactions, HTML is used to encode pages, multi-vendor coin-op/vending device support enables a variety of hardware choices in the eCommerce module, and csv provides an industry-standard logging and reporting file structure. Our certified Blackboard interface permits campus card fine payment for academic libraries. UTF-8 provides Unicode language support. The standard (included) languages are English, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Taiwanese. Additional languages are under development and will be provided at no additional charge.

INTEGRATED SELF-SERVICE: Self-service check in/check-out, borrower-enabled fine payment, user-selected language support, and a user-defined graphical/HTML menu are integrated into a system that become your self-service stations throughout the library. Incorporate EnvisionWare's LPT:One™ Print Release Terminals, AAM Account Revalue stations, EnvisionWare eCommerce Fines Pay Client, PC Reservation® self-service reservation station, and other applications so that every self-service circulation station is transitioned to the Next Generation in library services --end to end self-service.

OneStop self check out kiosk Built on the same core cabinet, the Renaissance Self-check kiosk is supplied without the internal cash management components and the optional software that makes self-check into self-service. Still, many libraries prefer to install a kiosk that performs only self-check functions and this versatile product gives customers the basic functionality as provided in the self-service system without the "frills." As needs grow, you can expand your Self-check Kiosk into a Full-service Kiosk. Compare

OneStop - Full-service Kiosk

At ALA Midwinter 2006, EnvisionWare ushered in a new era in library technology. Unveiled in the SirsiDynix exhibit, one of EnvisionWare's strategic ILS technology and distribution partners, the OneStop™ was the buzz of the show and the talk of customers, consultants, the press, and our competition.

OneStop Full-service KioskWhen EnvisionWare began researching the self-check marketplace we discovered an idea that didn't make sense. Published literature suggested that one of the five keys to success with self-check was raising the fine limit. We didn't understand how collecting less money would make self-check palatable to a library board. This was particularly true since EnvisionWare was the first company to introduce a software-based solution for self-service fine payment that handled cash and credit cards on the web and at kiosks. (EnvisionWare eCommerce Services is a software suite that queries fines and posts fine payments direct to the ILS from web and kiosk/self-check interfaces. The system was released in September 2005.)

In addition, we had been witnessing a trend toward a more comprehensive approach to formerly disparate self-service applications. Many of our libraries already combined PC Reservation® stations with Print Release Terminals and Deposit Account Add Value Stations in different combinations of these applications. Now a new era was about to emerge. OneStop is a significant money-saver for libraries because it leverages hardware across multiple applications. In the past, libraries would attach a coin-op to a copier, another device to the Print Release Terminal, and now yet another to a self check out system for self-service fine payment. All of these applications often used different receipt printers and separate barcode scanners. As if that were not enough, we all know that floor space is at a premium in many libraries so any technology that conserves space is a worthwhile consideration.

Enter OneStop, the Library Journal Editor's Pick self-service station that shares PC, cash, credit card, receipt, and barcode hardware across these applications:
• Self-check (barcode, RFID, plus magnetic tape security)
• Self-service fine payment (during checkout or as a separate menu function)
• Print Release
• PC Reservation
• Library Deposit Account Revalue
• Optional features like debit card dispensing
• Other forthcoming applications like self-service patron registration

OneStop - it's not just self check out, it's full-service.

An early adopter reports after more than a year of use:

"I am very satisfied with the OneStop Kiosk and with all EnvisionWare products and services. I plan to purchase additional systems in the near future."

OneStop - Modular Solution

Modularity

There are several design criteria incorporated in the OneStop kiosk that sets it apart from other solutions. Modularity and ease of service are just one of these important virtues. We designed a system so that anyone can easily service or replace a component in seconds.

Bill/Note Stacker / Module

Protecting and controlling cash is another important component. The modular dual key bill/note stacker permits easy removal of the cassette containing bills inserted into the system. The cassette is removed with one key but it takes a second key to open the casette and remove the actual cash. Thus independent service and cash removal can be accommodated while protecting the cash inside the cassette. A blank unit can be inserted into the system and the full unit taken to administration where cash is counted.

OneStop ADA - Accessability - Diverse Patron Support

Motorized Table

The unique motorized table option for the self-check or full-service kiosk provides a convenient option for patrons to raise and lower the table to suit individual needs. Whether for a patron in a wheel chair, a child, or an adult user, the same kiosk can be adjusted by the user to fit individual needs. Instead of allocating valuable floor space to single purpose, special configuration units, you can install a single solution that adapts to different user needs.

508 Screen Compliance

Because OneStop software is an HTML-based design, the pages can be read in the same way any web page can be read with accessability tools. You can adapt the design to fit special needs of your patrons and you can provide a system that is in compliance with 508 specifications.
