EnvisionWare is searching for a Sales Consultant with areas of experience and expertise to join our Sales team.

EnvisionWare is a global leader in the creation and deployment of innovative software and hardware systems to support the needs of the library industry.

The Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for the sale of EnvisionWare software and hardware products to libraries located in assigned geographical regions and serves as the principle contact with its leads, prospects, and customers in the assigned geographical region as well as the market influencers in the territory.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for creating revenue by qualifying accounts, filing responses to RFP/RFI’s, preparing and delivering solution‐based product presentations, and delivering proof of concepts which meet customer business requirements. Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling all company products to customers in assigned region.
  • Responsible for handling any technical question or issue that arises during a sales cycle and setting appropriate customer expectations.
  • The Sales Consultant is responsible for presenting an accurate sales order to the Company so that the Company can efficiently fulfill the customers’ expectations.
  • Responsible for participating in state and regional levels at trade shows, seminars, and conventions as appropriate for the investment and expected ROI.
  • Keep track of all sales activities including customer contacts. In addition, the Sales Consultant will monitor and understand the technical, price, service, and general market changes in our industry along with our competitor’s products and services.
  • Maintain close relationships with customers and new business opportunities, and recommend to Management any additional services or products that may be of benefit to EnvisionWare customers.
  • Responsible for generating new business by contacting referrals, leads, new accounts, and market influencers in a professional manner.
  • Generate new business by initiating no less than 50 proactive outbound sales call per week contacting referrals, leads, new accounts, and market influences in a professional manner.
  • Creates Sales Opportunities, Estimates and Sales Orders; determines costs for products and services requested; adds and updates customer and contact information to Customer Relationship Manager Systems; and executes customer purchase orders.
  • Solicits sale of products and services to new and existing customers.

Candidates must have skills or experience in the following areas:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years in library sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced small team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to build long term relationships with Customers.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
