Automated self service check in and hold slip printing

  Your circulation desk return slot can be quickly converted to an automated, self-service return solution.  As items are placed into the slot they are checked in, security is enabled, and each item is validated to determine hold or transit status.  The IRS software counts items as they glide into your bin and it stores a list of data to facilitate printing of customized hold slips and transit information.   Rapid, automated self-service check in improves the success of self service check out by clearing blocks the moment items are returned. 
• External Book/Media Chute
  For external book chutes, the same software and hardware coupled with an RFID-approved in-wall waterproof chute provides identical functionality to that described above for an in-desk or internal return.
