ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and participate in the month-end closing and reporting process
• Review and assist in preparation of month end and quarter end close deliveries of the business
• Participate in the development of Quarterly forecasts
• Responsible for Working Capital management and cash flow forecasting
• Assist the General Manager with the quarterly business report
• Act as primary liaison with the Portfolio finance team to ensure we meet close schedule deadlines, properly account for financials and provide reports and analysis upon request
• Review and assist in preparation of monthly account reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts (WIP, Inventory, Deferred Revenue)
• Provide support for both quarterly and annual internal and external audits
• Provide special internal and corporate reporting and analysis as required
• Manage department staff responsible for purchasing; order processing; invoicing; and maintenance and subscription renewal management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Accounting (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 5-8 years experience in an Accounting or Finance related work environment
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal skills
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are a must
• Experience & knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Experience working with NetSuite is strongly preferred
